A refreshing change from prancing about in heels and in a way I feel I am breaking free from the shackles that is shoes. Maybe it has something to do with the never ending supply of sand that has come home with me since teaching at a preschool the last few weeks or maybe it's the humidity that is making me go sans-shoes these days. Either way this dress from Lilya AW13 collection is the perfect dress to adopt this new shoe free persona I have taken on the last few days I've had off.

In case you haven't noticed pink is one of my favourite colours. Cliche I know but it's one of those colours that always catches my eye. I just love a colour that can be shocking and girly at the same time. This dress is the perfect cape cut to run around town in as your alter ego super hero or villian. While I won't be becoming a masked crusader anytime soon this dress is the perfect staple piece to layer with as we welcome Autumn next month. All I need is some cute knee high boots and socks with a snood and I will be set.
