There is nothing more perfect then an open back top when the heatwaves kick in. This top from May the Label is my go to throw on piece when I am going to the beach and in need of something nice to wear out to lunch after a morning swim or surf with the girls. I was mostly pairing this top with denim cut offs and my vintage crochet shorts until I found these beautifully tailored shorts at Zara on sale during a trip to the city for wedding dress shopping at Lisa Ho for my best friend. 

These shorts have now become my top's best friend and have made it the perfect outfit for Sunday drinks by the beach with friends. It's amazing what a nice pair of tailored shorts and staple heels can do to turn a top from day to night.
